Alzheimer’s Research UK is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. We are governed by a Board of Trustees, the Charity’s board of directors.

The Board’s role is to set the Charity’s strategic direction. The Board monitors the delivery of the Charity’s objectives, upholds its values and governance, and advises and supports the Chief Executive, who leads the Executive Management Team towards achieving the Charity’s vision and purpose.

The Board of Trustees is led by the Chairman, David Mayhew CBE and meets five times a year. Sub-committees of Trustees and staff report on Audit and Risk, Nominations and Governance, Investment and Legacy.

Alzheimer’s Research UK undertakes all of its charitable and fundraising activities with no bias in regard to political affiliation or religion. You can read more about our wider commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion here.
