How your support helps
Just £1 a week can do more than you think...
Right now, in the UK alone, almost one million people are living with dementia and tragically, not one of them will survive. There isn’t a cure for people with dementia. But donations like yours are helping change this.
£3 will allow researchers to extract DNA from blood, helping to identify new risk genes for diseases like Alzheimer’s and providing vital clues for treatment development.
£4 could pay towards a state-of-the-art microscope that will allow scientists to study the behaviour of cells in real time, providing a window into the diseases that cause dementia and shedding new light on ways to stop them.
How it works

Enter up to 5 chances. Every chance costs just £1 per draw. Choose 6 numbers or opt for a 'Lucky dip'.
2. Set up your Direct Debit
It's quick and easy. You will be paying monthly for the chances played in that month.
3. Get that Friday Feeling
Every Friday afternoon the results will be available online, and we will notify you if you've won!

FAQs
The Alzheimer’s Research UK lottery is open to residents of England, Wales and Scotland only. No entrants from any other territory is permitted. Our lottery rules require entrants to be 18 or over, anyone who is under the age of 18 is prohibited from entering them.
Playing a lottery is another and fun way of helping fund vital dementia research. For just £1 a week each person is in with a chance of winning one of 37 prizes every week: £25,000, £1,000 or 5 x £20, 10 x £10 and 20 x £5 and bringing us closer in finding a cure for dementia.
The Alzheimer’s Research UK lottery is intended to be a fun way to support Alzheimer’s Research UK and the vital work we do. A subscriber who uses an exclusion form will not be able to participate in the Charity’s lottery for a period of not less than six months. The self-exclusion will appear on your record on our database.
Winners are selected by a random draw from all the entrants in the Lottery at Alzheimer’s Research UK’s External Lottery Manager in Chippenham, in a secure and open environment, every Friday.
If you win a guaranteed runners-up prize (£20, £10 or £5) you will receive a winner’s email and payment will be paid by direct credit into your bank account.
If you win one of the top two prizes (£25,000 or £1,000) Alzheimer’s Research UK’s External Lottery Manager will contact you by phone to verify your details match the system. Once your details have been checked, a letter and cheque will be sent by post. If the prize is unclaimed, in the instance where we are unable to contact you within 6 months of winning, the prize will be forfeited.
