Yes, donating crypto is 100% legal. HMRC have provided guidelines for companies on how to process Bitcoin transactions, with which Alzheimer’s Research UK comply. This can be found on the Gov.uk website.

Donating crypto is completely legal and safe. There are currently no legal restrictions for accepting payments in Bitcoin in the UK, Ireland, or the EU.
