Findings to date have demonstrated the potential of digital biomarkers for early detection. In addition, EDoN’s cross-sector approach has helped to build capacity and skills in early detection research, laying important groundwork for initiatives such as the UK government’s Dementia Mission.
EDoN continues to collect data from four cohorts worldwide using a series of digital tools, and drawing on participants’ clinical data. Ongoing work will focus on following up participants, harmonising the collected data and making it available to the scientific community to draw insight and understanding, including about which particular measures reveal clues that assist in early detection. We expect to be able to share further data and insight in 2025.
