Policy Sounding Boards

Join the conversation to help shape dementia policy across the UK and give a voice to people impacted by dementia

Alzheimer’s Research UK is working hard to keep dementia on the agenda of policymakers. We need your help to represent people affected by dementia, build evidence to drive policy, and increase decision-makers’ awareness of the impact of dementia.

Volunteers on our Policy Sounding Boards will take part in group discussions and duties will include:

  • Being a voice to help sense-check items of work such as consultation responses, and to offer insight into future relevant topics and programmes of work.
  • Helping shape the direction of our policy work and new projects.
  • Sharing experiences of being affected by dementia, either personally or as a carer or family/friend.

Sounding Boards will take place in London or Cambridge every 3-4 months, and we will reimburse reasonable travel expenses.
