Collection Tin Coordinator

Help us turn pennies into pounds in your local area for dementia research.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is looking for volunteers to help increase the number of orange collection tins placed throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

We need passionate volunteers to help place and maintain collection tins in local shops and businesses such as newsagents, pubs, butchers, post offices, farm shops, chemists. The more collection tins you can help place and maintain the more money you help raise for life-changing dementia research.

This is a flexible and simple volunteering opportunity that can work around you, while helping Alzheimer’s Research UK raise funds and awareness among your local community.

Collection Tin Coordinator

Alzheimers Research UK is a charity very close to my heart and being a Collection Tin Coordinator helps me raise vital funds to support research into dementia. It’s also a fantastic way of getting out there and engaging with my local communities, talking to business owners about the work of the charity and raising awareness of the diseases that cause dementia. There’s a real sense of achievement as I visit each collecting tin location, thanking and informing them of how much they have raised and what a difference it makes to have their support.”
