Our fantastic corporate partners make a huge contribution to our work.

They help us to raise awareness and fund ground-breaking research, and with their support we will find an effective treatment for dementia even faster. Here are some of our current partners and their successes.

Current partnerships


Alzheimer’s Research UK is thrilled to be AXA Insurance’s charity partner for 2015-2018. AXA Insurance are backing our Defeat Dementia campaign by aiming to raise £250,000. Their AXA Cares champions have inspiring fundraising ideas up their sleeves from Purple People Days to skydives. We’re delighted to have the backing of the leadership team who undertook the Three Peaks Challenge in 2015.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is delighted to partner with international law firm CMS, following a successful partnership with Olswang before the firms merged. We have an action-packed few months ahead, with plans already in place to mark World Alzheimer’s Day in September, along with a mammoth cycle challenge in the same month. We’re excited to be continuing the partnership with CMS until the end of 2017.

Dyson is a global engineering and technology company. In January 2015, Dyson people voted Alzheimer’s Research UK their chosen charity. From 100 mile cycle rides and football marathons to ‘grow the tallest sunflower’ competitions, Dyson people have thrown themselves into fundraising – and every penny raised is match funded by the James Dyson Foundation.

Hallmark Care Homes

Hallmark Care Homes is joining forces with Alzheimer’s Research UK in an effort to defeat dementia. Employees from their homes across England and Wales will be embarking on fundraising activities for life-changing dementia research, while a dinner is also being planned in aid of our work.

We are thrilled to be selected for an exciting charity partnership with Herbert Smith Freehills that launched in January 2017. Staff at the company are supporting our work with a range of fundraising events, including Jeans Fridays, raffles, their annual Barristers Quiz and more.

Hidden Hearing

Hidden Hearing selected Alzheimer’s Research UK for a partnership with their Wellness Programme in 2017.  The programme is not only raising vital funds for research but their staff are busy fundraising too – helping to spread awareness about dementia and improve understanding about the condition amongst customers, friends and family.  Money raised through the partnership is supporting a ground-breaking research project studying dementia with Lewy bodies

Legal & General

We are delighted to be partnered with Legal & General on a number of very exciting new projects. Together we are developing a unique website to help children of all ages understand how dementia is affecting their family life. We are currently working with Legal & General on a project to make A Walk Through Dementia available to a far wider audience, including healthcare professionals. The project is progressing well and we are developing the app into a training tool. We have also released the app on IOS making it available on iPhones which makes it much more widely accessible to the public.

Operator of the NEC, ICC, Genting Arena, Arena Birmingham and the Vox, the NEC Group is one of the world’s top venue management companies. Its employees voted for Alzheimer’s Research UK to be their charity partner for 2018, and we’re excited to have their support. As well as aiming to raise vital funds for dementia research, a partnership with the NEC Group provides a unique platform to increase awareness of our cause with their millions of visitors.

NG Bailey

We’re excited to have NG Bailey by our side in the fightback against dementia. Alzheimer’s Research UK is partnered with the UK’s leading independent Engineering, IT and Facilities Services business. As well as raising vital funds for dementia research, employees have also embarked on a learning plan throughout the partnership so they understand more about the condition and what we can do to defeat it.

UK staff at headhunting firm Odgers Berndtson voted for Alzheimer’s Research UK to become their chosen charity in 2017, and they have embraced our cause with real enthusiasm ever since. With fundraising activities ranging from obstacle challenges to raffles and company-wide rowing events, their support is making a real difference to the fightback against dementia.

Alzheimer’s Research UK are delighted that Reed Smith are supporting our work.  Their dedication of legal pro bono work means that the charity can direct more resources to the battle to defeat dementia.  The advice and support they provide, particularly in data privacy law, helps us ensure the effective operation of the charity.

We are delighted to have joined forces with Ricoh Europe for a strategic partnership that will not only generate much needed funding for research and
further support for our activities, but will see us co-produce some exciting awareness campaigns using Ricoh Europe’s world-leading printing technologies

Simmons & Simmons

Simmons & Simmons have provided valuable legal pro bono assistance to various teams across the charity.  Their intellectual property and corporate specialists (amongst others) have supported the charity through many of its activities.  Their support means that we can dedicate more of the funds donated to us directly to dementia research.

The Perfume Shop

After successful partnerships in May and December 2014, The Perfume Shop will continue to support Alzheimer’s Research UK in 2015. They are currently funding a project led by Dr Jo Barnes at University College London, which will develop brain imaging techniques to diagnose dementia sooner; the leading cause of death in women in the UK.

TTP Group

TTP Group has embarked on a year-long partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK. There’ll be a big focus on engaging with staff, customers and suppliers about dementia research, raising much-needed awareness and funds.

Wickes staff have selected Alzheimer’s Research UK as their chosen charity for a three-year partnership from 2016. Employees at Wickes stores across the country are helping to power the fight against dementia with a variety of fundraising events – including a store-to-store relay with staff taking to bicycles, scooters, skates and more to raise money for pioneering research.

World Duty Free logo

World Duty Free

World Duty Free launched a three-year partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK in January 2016. Money raised by the company funds our Dementia Research Infoline, which provides vital information for the public about dementia and research to defeat the condition, as well as helping people to take part in research studies.
