Alzheimer’s Research UK have a fantastic team of regional fundraisers who are based across the UK. Each of our regional officers manage and live in their regions and are here to support you with your fundraising.

About me: ‘I’m Stacy, the Regional Fundraising Officer for Scotland. I live in the beautiful Midlothian countryside.
I feel very privileged to join the team of such an amazing charity and am very excited to work with our inspired and dedicated supporters and volunteers in Scotland in fighting this heart-breaking disease.
Before joining ARUK I managed the Scotland region for a medical research charity and a cancer & palliative care charity. I also have over eleven years within event management. I love supporting and guiding our amazing supporters and volunteers, developing fundraising opportunities and managing events.

About me: ‘I’m Simon and I’m the Regional Fundraiser for the North West.
My father was diagnosed with dementia in 2013 and I’m passionate about helping to find a cure for this illness so that other families like ours won’t have to go through what we’ve gone through. I’m based in Blackburn, have a background in digital fundraising, and I’m looking forward to supporting people across the North West who want to help find a cure for this condition.

About me:Hi there! My name is Kyle Lockhart, I am proud to be the Regional Fundraising Officer for East Midlands.
I originally come from the beautiful town of Oban on the West Coast of Scotland (Famed for delicious seafood) and I now live in the vibrant city of Leeds. I started working for ARUK in Summer of 2017 having just lost a grandparent to Alzheimer’s, so I am very passionate about being part of the fightback against this heart-breaking disease.
I love my job as it gives me the opportunity to meet so many inspirational supporters who share our passion for funding more research to ultimately reach our goal.
My working week can vary from working with our amazing fundraising groups, providing a presentations to organisations or schools to supporting a local fundraiser with their Machu Picchu Trek.

About me: Hi everyone! I’m Zoe and I have been with Alzheimer’s Research UK since March 2016. I have a scientific background and am extremely passionate about the benefits of science and the need for more research into dementia. I love the varied life of a regional fundraiser and being able to help our dedicated and inspirational supporters.

About me: Hi I’m Ceri, I live in the beautiful south Wales valleys and I am the RFO for Wales. I am one of the newest officers to join the fundraising team and I feel very privileged to be part of Alzheimer’s Research UK. My family and I have a personal experience of supporting a loved one through the many difficult day to day and emotional challenges of dementia. So I am very passionate about being part of the fight against Alzheimer’s.
Before joining ARUK I worked in the charity sector and have over 10 years’ experience of working as a community development officer supporting volunteers, providing advice and guidance for funding opportunities and arranging events.
I am incredibly proud to be Welsh, I am lucky to be part of such strong traditional communities and we are nation who support each other. Let’s fly the flag for Wales and beat dementia!

About me: ‘Hello I am Georgi the Regional Fundraiser for the South East; I started working at ARUK in January 2018 having worked in the charity sector for the last nine years. The South East region is such an exciting place to work with such diverse communities and opportunity to work together from schools, colleges, community groups and businesses.
I have a passion for building relationships that are mutually beneficial and ensuring supporters have fun whilst raising valuable funds to help us with our vision of a world free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia.
In my spare time I love to run and will be seen in my Team ARUK vest this year at many events across the country including The Great South and for the first time The Great North Run.

About me: Hello I’m Rebecca the Regional Fundraiser for Kent and Sussex.
I started working at ARUK in November 2015 having worked in the charity sector for over 16 years, for a number of charities, both large and small. The counties of Kent and Sussex are where I live, love and have grown up so I find it a wonderful place to work getting to know people from across all the different communities. I can’t wait to meet more of you wanting to get involved and supporting the life-changing research here at ARUK’.
I love meeting new people and building mutually beneficial relationships so we all gain something from what will be a fun and exciting fundraising journey, one I hope you will want to continue over many years helping us achieve our mission of to bring about the first life-changing dementia treatment by 2025.
When I am not working I am wife to Ben and a mummy to Alfred who is 5 and Eleanor who is 1 – so life is pretty hectic but I would not have it any other way.
For me, doing this job does not feel like work, I honestly feel like I have the best job in the world, I am one lucky girl!
