We’re giving delegates the opportunity to speak at our Conference, and up to 250 delegates to exhibit their work at our poster presentation sessions.

If you would like to submit an abstract, please indicate your interest during registration. After you have registered you will receive a link to upload your abstract. If you can’t find your link to upload your abstract, please get in touch with conference@alzheimersresearchuk.org

If you would like to submit a poster abstract and an oral abstract, you will need to submit these separately using the portal links in your registration email.

Oral presentation abstracts

This year we are giving PhD students, post-docs, Fellows or researchers without a permanent contract or a permanent position the chance to give an oral presentation at our Conference. Submit an abstract by midday on Monday 14 December 2020 for the opportunity to have a 15-minute speaking slot in one of the Conference sessions.

Oral presentation abstracts should follow the formatting guidelines below and can be uploaded after registration using the link in your confirmation email. If you are successful your registration fees will be refunded.

Early Careers Day PhD oral presentation abstracts

This year we are giving PhD students the opportunity to speak at the Early Careers Day. The presentations will be 10 minutes long and provide a great opportunity to engage with researchers at a similar career stage. Submit an abstract by midday on Monday 14 December 2020 for the opportunity to give a 10-minute presentation.

Poster abstracts

Posters will be available for viewing before the Conference goes live. Throughout the Conference there will be dedicated poster times for presenters to interact with delegates.

Abstracts can only be uploaded after you have registered for the Conference and the 250 posters will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. The closing date for abstract submission is midday on Wednesday 6 January 2021, but we anticipate spaces filling up before this date, so please upload your abstract as soon as possible after you have registered to avoid disappointment.

Successful applicants will receive further details of final poster formats.
