The Alzheimer’s Research UK Conference is moving online!

We are pleased to announce that the Alzheimer’s Research UK Conference will be held online in March 2021.

Moving online has been a difficult decision to make. However, after careful consideration we feel that with continued uncertainty due to COVID-19, our responsibility to the safety of our delegates, and their contacts, means that an in-person event would not be possible. Instead, we are looking forward to putting on an excellent programme of the latest dementia research, available online.

We recognise that an online event will not have the same atmosphere as meeting in person. However, we are working to tailor our programme for an online experience and we are committed to ensuring that our Conference meets your needs as much as possible.

If you had rolled over your registration from last year you will hear shortly from our Conference team.

Dates and registration details coming soon

Presentation opportunities

Our Conference will provide several opportunities for delegates to share their latest findings with other dementia researchers. More details will be available soon.

Oral presentations

We will be inviting PhDs, post-docs, Fellows or researchers without a permanent position the chance to give an oral presentation at our Conference covering the following topics:

  • viral infection and dementia
  • biomarkers
  • neurosensory aspects of dementia
  • drug discovery and design
  • novel therapies and clinical implications
  • clinical trials
  • other dementias.

During the Early Careers Day, PhD students will have the opportunity to present their work to fellow early career researchers. These talks are not restricted to a particular topic but must cover biomedical dementia research.
