This World Alzheimer’s Month, we’re inviting parliamentarians to become Dementia Research Champions

Research has the power to transform the lives of everyone affected by dementia, but we need more people taking part in dementia research if we’re to bring about life-changing treatments.

"On behalf of everyone who is living with dementia or has a loved one affected by this devastating condition, I am doubling research funding and calling for volunteers to join ‘Babs’ Army."

Prime Minister Boris Johnson calling for volunteers to sign up for dementia clinical trials as part of the Dementia Mission launched in August 2022.

Did you know that 69% of UK adults would consider getting involved in dementia research, but 81% wouldn’t know how to?

Our Dementia Research Champions are helping to change this.

Throughout September, our Champions will be amplifying their voice both on social media and in Westminster through tabling parliamentary questions, sharing supporter stories, taking part in a parliamentary debate and much more.
