Break down the stigma of dementia by building relationships and delivering talks in your community.
Help us achieve our ambition of creating a network of Community Speakers. These vital volunteers will play a huge part in increasing public understanding and breaking down the stigma of dementia.
You’ll research and find groups to approach, giving talks to all sorts of organisations across your region. All as you share information about our vital work to make breakthroughs possible in dementia research.
Other activities may include cheque presentations and thank you speeches. You’ll also act as an ambassador for Alzheimer’s Research UK to make sure supporters feel appreciated.
Either way you can rest assured that you’ll be fully supported by your Regional Fundraising Officer. We will also provide full training and all the resources you need.
