Essex dementia research event
Join us to learn more about dementia research and the work of Alzheimer’s Research UK. You’ll hear from our science communications team all about Alzheimer’s disease and other causes of dementia, brain health and how you can reduce your risk. A local scientist will then go into detail on the amazing research taking place near you.
You’ll learn about how gifts in Wills left to Alzheimer’s Research UK fund scientists around the country and make this ground-breaking work possible. Following the event, you will have the chance to explore the East Anglian Railway Museum, with a guided tour run by knowledgeable volunteers.

Oxfordshire Planning for the Future event
This free event will give you the opportunity to hear from an experienced solicitor about legal issues relating to Powers of Attorney, paying for care and related areas. It will focus on how these issues affect people with dementia, their families, friends and carers. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
You’ll hear about the world-leading research being funded by kind supporters like you, as well as how you could support us with a gift in your Will. Following the event, you will be able to explore Waterperry Gardens at your leisure, free of charge.
