Mum-of-three Kim is an Alzheimer’s Research UK volunteer, who has kindly chosen to support us with a gift in her Will.

Kim was inspired to leave a gift in her Will to Alzheimer’s Research UK in memory of her mum and mother-in-law after they both sadly died from dementia.

Kim

"It was becoming more obvious to us as a family that time goes so quickly and with more of our friends and relatives suffering from major illnesses and losing loved ones it became apparent to us that getting our affairs in order was a step in the right direction to being able to relax and enjoy the ‘rest of our lives’!

We have been dramatically affected by dementia and this unforgiving condition that robs families of their loved ones in the cruellest of ways.

It is only with financial help from our generation that any in-roads towards any form of cure may be found. If we can help fund the vital research needed to end the misery of dementia for our children’s children, then we feel we have done our bit. Leaving a gift in our Will was one of the more satisfying ways that we have found to support Alzheimer’s Research UK.”

If, like Kim, you choose to include a gift to us in your Will, we would be very grateful. Any gift, large or small, helps to fund more vital research and drives us closer to bringing about the first life-changing dementia treatment. If you do choose to leave a gift, it’s important to include our full name, Alzheimer’s Research UK, and our registered charity number, which is 1077089 in England and Wales, and SC042474 in Scotland.
