Get fundraising this Christmas!
Your support means more than ever this Christmas
Although ’tis the season to be jolly, this year Christmas is also a time of staying safe and protecting our friends, family, and communities.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun and spread the joy with some festive fundraising to power life-changing dementia research in 2021!
How can I fundraise this Christmas?
We’re making strides in dementia research, and life-changing treatments are in our sights – but after this year of lockdowns and restrictions, we need your help to get research back on track.
There’s no limit to what you can achieve without even leaving the house! With a bit of creativity and a dash of inspiration, you can hold a festive fundraiser that will bring cheer to you and your friends and family, while also staying safe.
You can hold a virtual battle of the bakes competition, a Boxing Day treasure hunt, a ‘bakeaway’ bake sale, a home office Tinseltown competition, or take on your own epic run or bike ride – this Christmas you decide how you will fundraise and help make breakthroughs possible!
Lucas the lockdown legend
7-year-old Lucas created his own 30-day lockdown fitness challenge in May. He set himself daily challenges like 100 handstands, 100 jumping jacks, and a 5-mile cycle ride – his heroic efforts smashed his target of £100, raising over £1,000 for Alzheimer’s Research UK!
