The Pilot project scheme is meant for novel research ideas that if successful would lead to a Major project or programme application to Alzheimer’s Research UK or other funding body.
Senior Research Fellowship
Senior Research Fellowships are designed to retain excellent clinical and non-clinical researchers who have a track record of nationally competitive research, and clear plans to manage their own independent research group and become internationally recognised within the field of biomedical dementia research.
Research Fellowship
Research Fellowships are designed for promising PhD qualified non-clinical researchers who have delivered previous research projects with evidence of impactful outputs and have clear plans to establish their own research ‘niche’.
Clinical Research Fellowship
Clinical Research Fellowships are designed for promising clinically qualified researchers who have delivered previous research projects with evidence of impactful outputs and have clear plans to establish their own research ‘niche’.
PhD Scholarship
This scheme is for a full PhD programme; it does not cover funding gaps for students who have already started their studies.
Dementia Consortium
The Dementia Consortium will provide funding, resources and expertise to both increase the number of, and capitalise upon, new drug targets emerging from across the academic sector that hold promise of bringing patient benefit.
