Abstracts

We're giving people the opportunity to speak at our Conference, and up to 300 delegates to exhibit their work at our poster presentation sessions.

Oral presentation abstracts

This year we are giving PhDs, post-docs, Fellows or researchers without a permanent position the chance to give an oral presentation at our Conference. Submit an abstract by 20 November 2019 for the opportunity to have a 15-minute speaking slot in one of the Conference sessions.

Oral presentation abstracts should follow the formatting guidelines below and can be uploaded after registration using the link in your confirmation email.

Word count: 300 words maximum

All oral presentation abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Programme Committee, and applicants informed of the outcome on 10 January 2020. If you are successful your registration fees will be refunded, accommodation will be provided, and your travel expenses covered (at standard fare).

If you have submitted an oral abstract and would also like to present a poster then please fill in a separate abstract submission for your poster.

Poster abstracts

Poster sessions will be held on the Early Careers Day as well as throughout the main conference. Please use the dropdown in the abstract submission portal to specify which part of the Conference you would like to present your poster at.

Abstracts can only be uploaded after you have registered for the Conference and will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
