Early Careers Day

The Alzheimer’s Research UK Early Careers Day takes place on Monday 18 March 2019 at the Harrogate Convention Centre. It is a great opportunity to present your work, to network and hear about careers in and beyond academia, all in a relaxed environment.

The PhD sessions at our Early Careers Day are a great opportunity to present your work to fellow students in a relaxed environment. Along with scientific discussion we will be holding an alternative careers panel with speakers from industry to editing, and a work-life balance session to help guide you through your future careers. There will also be a poster session although we will only have limited spaces available.

The Early Career Day is open to all PhD students. If you would like to give an oral presentation of your work, please submit an abstract via the link that was included in your confirmation email by 5 December 2018 and several students will be selected to give a 15-minute talk.
