London to Brighton Bike Ride

Date: 18 June 2023

Registration fee: £5

Minimum sponsorship: £300

Location: Clapham Common, London

Saddle up and take on the iconic 54-mile cycle from London to Brighton in June!

Use pedal power to travel from city to city over the punishing Ditchling Beacon and across the stunning South Downs, before arriving on Brighton seafront for a celebration with the Alzheimer’s Research UK team, friends and family.

Our charity place is now closed

Starting in London and heading south, once out of London you will predominantly cycle along quiet lanes passing through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath before taking on the challenge that is Ditchling Beacon – a mile-long climb to the top of the South Downs where you will be rewarded with amazing views and a water break!

From there it's downhill for the last few miles on to the famous Brighton seafront where a celebration awaits!
