The animation is narrated by actress Pam Ferris, who lost her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Frost, to Alzheimer’s disease in 2015, aged 99.

Pam, who played Sister Evangelina in Call The Midwife and Miss Trunchbull in Matilda, said:

“I was only too happy to support this vital project to help people understand the true impact of dementia, and what’s being done to tackle it. It’s a cause very close to my heart.”
