The ARUK Explorer Hike takes place in the beautiful Peak District, exclusively for Alzheimer’s Research UK supporters. Take on the walk solo with friends, or meet people on the day who share a connection to dementia.
Your 8-mile hike will start and finish at Carsington Water, once you’ve crossed the finish line you’ll be rewarded with your medal, snacks, and refreshments. Along the route there will be fully stocked pitstops where you can stop to chat to volunteers and other walkers, or just take a well-earned break!
If you’d love to take part but you’re looking for a bigger challenge, you can join us on our 26-mile route, which takes place at the same time! Whichever route you pick, you’ll be surrounded by stunning natural views while you raise awareness and vital funds.
