The Alzheimer’s Research UK Clinical Conference 2020 has been postponed.

After careful consideration we have decided to postpone plans for this year’s Clinical Conference.

We have been closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and this decision has been taken in order not to distract from current and future pressures on the healthcare system.

In light of this we will be reviewing how best to take forward the event over the coming months.

Clinical Conference 2019

Leading experts from clinical and research settings debated, and provided insight on a range of topics relevant to dementia. In 2019, we covered:

  • Diagnosing mild cognitive impairment.
  • Innovation in the dementia field.
  • Clinical trial research.
  • The potential for risk reduction.
  • Scope for innovation and change in dementia services.

The event is organised as part of our Dementia Access Taskforce, which seeks to develop collaborative solutions to prepare for future dementia treatments.

The 2019 Conference was approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 6 category 1 (external) CPD credits.
