We have pulled together a number of courses that can help with clinical research.
National institute for Health Research
The National Institute for Health Research offers a wide range of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) courses. These comprise e-learning courses such as ‘Introduction to GCP with Adults Lacking Capacity’, as well as a range of face-to-face courses available across the country including ‘Next steps in delivering clinical research’ and ‘Communication about randomised clinical trials’. NHS Health Research Authority
The NHS Health Research Authority host a variety of training days in both London and Manchester on topics such as the Human Tissue Act and phase I clinical trials. You can find resources from training days published on their website.
The HRA also has a growing programme of eLearning courses designed to support the research community covering the research design of clinical trials and training for non-commercialised studies. Find out more here.
Medical Research Council
The MRC run a number of free eLearning courses with modules aiming to provide an understanding of research data and confidentiality, human tissue legislation, and good research practice.
