Alzheimer’s Research UK was chosen as Capgemini Consulting’s very first Charity of the Year for 2011. After pledging to raise £25,000, the company exceeded target and raised nearly £30,000 for Prof Simon Lovestone’s project, aiming to improve detection of Alzheimer’s disease.
The company got their fundraising off to a classy start, raffling off an iPad at their Gold Awards event. Purple cake sales, curry lunches, Battle of the Brains quizzes and more show their staff’s commitment right across the organisation to making a difference in our mission to defeat dementia.
Staff were active too, taking part in running, cycling and even skydiving events!
We are thrilled to have worked with Capgemini Consulting and are thankful for all the hard work of their staff, who helped make a fantastic contribution towards funding our research.
